Spitfire Records is launching a new imprint - Spitfirevision. The label plans to release about a dozen new DVD's next year.

Next year's Sweden Rock Festival will take place on June 7th and 8th, 2002 with a kick off day on June 6th. Bands will be announced in early December, with ticket sales to follow soon after. 1000 discounted early bird tickets will be available. For more info check out: www.swedenrock.com.

Head to UDO's website, udo-online.de for two MP3 files available for download from the new Live From Russia CD. The tracks are 'Holy' and 'Animal House'. The first 20,000 copies of the live CD will be housed in a book and will have a little booklet inside with plenty of live pictures and much more. The artwork for Live From Russia has also been posted at the UDO site.

JUDAS PRIEST have announced the following dates on their Australian tour: November 30th - Metropolis - Perth, December 2nd - The Barton Theatre - Adelaide, 3rd - The Palace - Melbourne, 5th - Enmore Theatre - Sydney and 7th - The Arena - Brisbane.

MSG's U.S. tour commences with three dates at House Of Blues in Chicago (November 26th - 28th). Schenker's former UFO bandmate Pete Way will join the group on the tour.

CHASTAIN are currently recording their new album, due out at the end of this year. The bands current line-up includes David T. on guitar, Kate French on vocals and the original VICIOUS RUMORS rhythm section of Larry Howe on drums and Dave Starr on bass. Ringleader David T. states, "The music is going to turn heads".
