My thoughts exactly!
I am surprised not to see Angus Young in that list. Not that I feel he should be there but with lists of this type he seems like a perfect candidate for inclusion in the top 10.

funny stuff....
for me now, the real "lord of te riffs" are Glenn Tipton and 'K.K.' Downing
as i found "Tyrant" one of my all time favorite songs.....

who knows who playing the riffs?

Iommi is a killer guitar player, and for all the marvellous riffs he's made over the years, he deserves a no. 1 placing. The rest of the list is questionable though.

I really wonder what kind of background those who vote have. Seriously! I do not see Randy Rhoads, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Gary Moore, Yngwie, Criss Impeliterri, etc. on that list.

These types of lists really show the credibility of the magazine.
Just like watching VH1... those "critics"... I bet the closest they've come to playing an instrument is when they play the Skin Flute.
