Ace Frehley (not a nice guy, but not an a-hole either)

Phil and Mikey from Motorhead (Lemmy just walked right by us without saying a word - what a dick)

Savatage (Wake Of Magellan tour - Jon Oliva was kind of arrogant)

Armored Saint (five of the coolest dudes I've ever met)

Tesla (ditto)

of course, King's X (ditto again, except there were three of them Rolling Eyes)

Phil and Rex from Pantera

Wrathchild America

Monty Colvin from Galactic Cowboys

Union

The Wildhearts (everybody but Ginger - what a bummer)

Steve Whiteman from Kix

Death Angel

Y&T

Reverend Horton Heat and Jimbo Wallace (his bass player)

and just last month, Blitz from Overkill

Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley (numerous signings of products they were hawking). They seemed decent enough.
Chris Caffery - He is always a trip
Ron Keel - IronHorse - at the KISS convention
Nergal - Behemoth Singer - Interesting fellow, great powerful band
Jon Oliva - Savatage - Awesome dude, like meeting a Metal Legend.
Metal Mike Chlasiak - He rules, always fun and interesting.
Alex Skolnick - Amazing player, amazing individual
Tad Morose - Entire band are great dudes, always excited to speak to them.
Mille Petrozza - Cool guy, got to meet him not in a show environment.
Backyard Babies - When they did an off night in Brooklyn from Social Distortion tour.
Peter Steele and Johnny Kelly (Type-O-Negative) - they were hanging in a bar in the area
Tony Kakko - Sonata Arctica (when in NYC)
Overkill - At their show, I was with a friend of theirs
Tim Owens - At the Iced Earth show.
John Schaffer (Iced Earth) - In 2 hours, damn I best finish my questions for him.

I think there are more, but blanking on them at present. Either way, I feel lucky to have interacted with those I have, learning experiences all around.

Uli Jon Roth - He thought I was a weirdo- based on the look he gave me when I shook his hand and had him sign my shoe.

Chris Caffery - short chat about the new Savatage album [this was pre Poets and Madmen]. Cool guy to talk to.

Alex Skolnick- like the Caffery meeting it was at a meet and greet following Transiberian Orchestra. We discussed something about Testament and he acted appreciative that I had followed him through his career. Some comments about our recent haircuts too [I feel like a girl after posting that part]

Sharlee D'Angelo - Arch Enemy. Not much said.

Andre Olbrich and Hansi Kursch of Blind Guardian- not much said.

Pheroze and Frank of Scar Culture - commented on their show winning my attention. They were pretty humble. My friend and I wanted to see what happened to them since then, but I heard they split or something. Not a great band by the cd, but their live set caught my attention.

Karl and the other guys in Nile circa 2002- Talked to various members for about 15 - 20 minutes while I waited for Arch Enemy to come out [I never actually met the Arch Enemy guys except for Sharlee]. The bassist, now departed, was a lot of talk, and seemed slightly irritated that I was talking to him- just the vibe I got. Seemed stupid considering I found out from him and Karl that he'd just joined the band and hadn't played on any albums. Karl was real humble and it was nice talking to him. It's funny cause he's really the backbone of the band, but he was almost shy in the way he acted. I guess some people have to speak a different way. The other guys seemed kindof nerdy, which I find to be refreshing when you compare it to all the stories of rockers going home to be idiots- so I mean nerdy in a good way- just they were messing around but to my knowlegdge not f**k chicks or drinking massive amounts.

um and I can't think of anything after I started typing about Nile, but I think there may have been another one.
