I've been digging his stuff recently. I had The Jeff Beck Group album for a while. He's got Cozy Powell on drums there, which is cool. Right now I'm listening to Blow by Blow. This is some awesome stuff. All instrumental and not at all metal or hard rock, but there's so much stuff going on and so much groove it's really captivating.

Blow By Blow is my favorite JB disc. Lots of jazzy, R&B, fusion-type stuff. Another good disc is the one he did with Tim Bogert and Carmine Appice, called (of course) Beck Bogert Appice. It's more straight ahead rock than BBB. And of course there was his stint with the Yardbirds, which was also great.

I love "Blow by Blow," but "Wired" is the set to get, it's faster & funkier fusion.

If you're interested in more fusion I can provide you with a list of greats.

Yep, Al is great! He plays on Return to Forever's "Romantic Warrior," & many of their others.

Also another good fusion album is Return to Forever "Hymm for the Seventh Galaxy."
