Dream Theater, Fates Warning, Savatage
Could one include Iron Maiden? A lot of their music is extended and theme driven. They aren't just speed metal like when they first started out with their first few efforts. |

These are a couple of new ones I ran into. They are from Brazil and I believe Finland. The lyrics are English. Definitely worth a listen.
Nightwish has a new lead singer, never heard their music previous, but I must say their arrangements and musicianship are spectacular in my opinion.
