This message is a quick thank you to Jorge. I check out the HardBoard regularly and often noticed Jorge praising Glenn Hughes. I didn't usually think much about it because I didn't really know much about Glenn Hughes. I knew he was a vocalist with a few classic hard rock bands but really had no scope or idea to this man's genius and body of work. A few months ago I was bored out of my skull with this deep freeze I call home. I knew I needed my first love, music, to take me out of my winter-blues. Then, I remembered Jorge and many other posters including Glenn Hughes on their top ten lists and so on. I thought what the heck, and acquired 'Soul Mover' and 'Music for the Divine'. I was totally blown away!! There's something about his music that is so fresh, but will also stand the test of time. Since first hearing those two releases, I've gone on to pick up at least another half-dozen more. I can't get enough Glenn Hughes. I'm almost ready for some kind of '12-Step Program'. In fact, I recently found myself giving crap to a local music store manager for not carrying any Glenn Hughes discs! I'm out of control. Jorge, thanks for regularly praising this artist or else I really never would have bothered to check him out. Stay cool. |

.......I'll bet Conway Twitty's chat room or board sees more action than Hard Radio's board.....ugh. Didn't realize this was a seniors' site! |

Ah Scorchin, once again you are the sobering Ying to my raging Yang. I thank you for the advice. I love this website because of the news, the radio, links, etc. so I get a little miffed sometimes at my perceived lack of interest by the site's visitors. I will begin inviting my friends to the site, thanks again. |

I picked up Soul Mover last year. I really like the flow of the songs throughout the CD. Definitely not your processed commercial type of rock. Just straight ahead, go for the throat, full throttle jams.
Can't wait to pick up his new CD in May. |

I dug him with Sabbath, Purple, and Gary Moore, but don't think he would catch my interest outside of one of my favorite guitarists writing for him. |
