This is a favorite topic of mine. Many have already been listed, but off the top of my head, here goes:
Y&T
Armored Saint
Rough Cutt
Black n Blue
Gun
Little Caesar
Royal Court of China ("Geared and Primed" is sooooo damn brilliant)
Waysted
Mama's Boys (circa. the trio days, before getting all those lame lead vocalists)
Warrior
Nevada Beach
Killer Dwarfs
American Man (Tommy Thayer's brilliant post-Black n Blue band featuring Todd Jensen on vox/bass; very BnB-like in sound)
Jailhouse
Anacrusis
Atheist
Vicious Rumors
Sacred Reich
Lizzy Borden
Shark Island
The Angels (in the U.S., at least. Ever wonder what AC/DC would've sounded like in the 90s if Bon Scott never died and if the boys hadn't forgotten how to write good songs?? Then find a copy of "Beyond Salvation".) |

SECRECY from germany. they put out two albums in the early 90`s and RAGING ROMANCE is just awesome! they should have been huge but nobody seems to talk about them.
i also agree with death angel. act 3 is one of the greatest metal albums ever. the two acoustic tracks (veil of deception and a room with a view) are unreal. |

I alsway thought that Lillian Axe should have been bigger. They have that pop/rock/metal ( and lately christian) thing going. I suppose that my addiction is that I used to see them as a bar bad when they were
called Stiff, gotta love the stuff you grow up on.
Samsalt1,
Seem to me that you and I are always singing the praises of Death Angel - ACTIII.
P.S. you can get this CD on ebay often for
10-12 bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll second the vote for ANACRUSIS.
I just got "manic impression" yesterday,
will see if it grows on me and is as good as
'screams and whispers'
