Listening to Raven's re-issued "All For One" made me think of this. Ever hear a song by a band you love that is just so putrid it makes you laugh?
The Raven/Udo collaboration on "Born to be Wild" is one. So is Twisted Sister's "Leader of the Pack". Judas Priest's "Parental Guidance."
p.s. hope to hell we didn't do this topic before. Getting hard to remember. I mean I hope to HECK we didn't do it (don't wanna get banned for using the word "Hell.") |

ya know, I LOVED Chameleon, but not as a Helloween album. As a Helloween album, it was crap! hehe
Have you heard any of Kiske's solo CDs yet? He went for a total lite rock direction. I love both of them as well. Surely better than anything Deris has done yet! *waits for veggies to fly*

Yeah, I thought the same way, Chameleon was a really good album if you accept the fact that it is nothing like Helloween. As for Kiske's solo albums, I do not have any of them yet....one of those "things to eventually get". I did hear a song from the one, I can't remember the name of it though. It was on the import "Hansenworks" which was a cd of songs involving Kai Hansen throughout his career. I wish they would have had some demos from Gentry etc... with Kai and Piet. |
