Pink Cream 69 - "Electrified"
It's one of the first cd's I've purchased since finding HardRadio, and I highly recommend this excellent cd. It's not exactly heavy metal, more like hard rock, but damn, these guys have their s.hit together. I've been playing it so much that my 4 yr. old daughter now sings along. I love all the songs. Everything flows. Definitely quality here. Can't wait to hear more. |

Well, since it hasn't been said, and only mentioned,
In Flames - Colony
Jake, I am sorry, this is not overrated, it kicks ass. Awesome. |

PINK CREAM 69-Sonic Dynamite
Their new release is an outstanding combination of power and melody and the really stick in one's brain for a long time. |

I have to go with W.A.S.P's Helldorado. Probably because I am brain damaged, and I don't comprehend extended voiced chords like 13ths and 9ths. Any progressions that have more than three chords are too much for my mangled melon to handle. I think Helldorado has a good groove on most of the tracks however I will admit there are some throw-away tracks like: "Cocaine Cowboys" but,I'll live with that. |

hmmmmmmmm. Recommendations are always hard to give on a general basis, since people are so different.
I'll take an oldie that has been playing ALOT in my room recently, TESTAMENT - LOW
The best trash ablum of the 90s....

A hearty thumbs up to the following 2000 releases so far:
Spiritual Beggars "Ad Astra" - stoner schmoner this rocks. Michael Arnott delivers quality in Carcass, Arch Enemy and does it here also. GET IT.
Pantera "Reinventing" - they came back kicking
AC-DC "Stiff Upper": probably my surprise of the year so far. I didn't expect much but I ended up with a lot. They found the old sound & attitude.
Soilwork "Chainheart": See metalfilms comment - killer.
Shadows Fall "Of One Blood": Another killer metal release that morphs the best elements of different genres of metal.
For some candy try Supergrass (love that CD), also Opeth "Still Life" still blows me away 5-6 months since I got it.

Due to the fact that my album buying has been extremely limited lately, I'd have to say:
DEMONS & WIZARDS
I think that is the only one I've bought lately, and I am still waiting for the new Running Wild.....I think I'll move to Europe................. |

No no no...I was referring to Ray Alder, Sean. I like his voice, but I don't like the technical and boring direction that Matheos has steered the Fates into. |
