...in honor of my brave CD player...
My noble and just CD player of 5 years passed away saturday.
After many years of loyal service in the name of true metal and hard rock - he finally passed on.
His gentle motor burned out at approx. 2:15 am EST while playing "Blind in Texas" for his drunken master and friends at unholy volume levels.
I raise my glass in his honor!
He played hard and liked it loud...
He shall be sorely missed...

Look on the bright side....now you can get a dual deck phillips cd burner. I am not able to get the wife to see a cd burner as a requirement for my life. She uses the argument that I don't need anymore CD's.
She is so confused ...

I have had a Philips Cd recorder for over a year now. It has been one of the best purchases I have ever made when it comes to music. Never again am I stuck with a cd with only one or two good songs. I just wait till I have a few cd's like that, and make me a compilation cd. I highly recommend it for anyone with $500 to blow on audio equipment. |

I've often wondered if dead heavy metal CD players, cassette decks, and turntables go to the same Valhalla that broken guitar strings go to. |

Duh! Of course they do!
They sit around and guzzle "D" Cell batteries and tell stories of the parties they participated in.
And they know that one day - they will all return to earth for the final heavy metal blowout - when all of them will play all at once and destroy the earth in one final MONSTER PARTY!
Sounds neat eh?
