My first rock concert was Asia at the Summit (now know as the Compaq Center) in Houston. I drank too much and worshipped the porcelain god for the entire concert - memories . . . .
My first real concert was Metallica and Armored Saint at Cardi's. |

Claptin (sp) on his 25th aniversery tour back in like 88. I only went cause I was/am a huge Knopfler fan. I think my first "real" metal concert was Scorpions in 93 or so. I started cranking the shows out after I graduated college in 95. |

Here's a scary one - My first concert was The Cars with Nick Lowe at the Hartford Colisseum. I was mesmerized by the guy a few rows in front of me getting stoned. Don't remember much about the concert otherwise |

Oh, OK, in the interest of full disclosure, I did see Kenny Rogers and Dottie West at the Hartford Civic Center shortly before the Cheap Trick / UFO show. It was during the midst of Gambler-mania. Mom and Dad scored us 3rd row seats. It was epic. |

First concert ever~~Journey/Babys~~some outdoor venue, somewhere around Syracuse, sometime in between 1979 and 1980. (No, I can't be more specific! Those were the days of daily mind altering substance abuse. I have been trying to remember more details since this topic came up, and this is the best I could do!! First real Hard Rock concert~~Landmark Theater, Syracuse NY. April 30, 1981. Ozzy Osbourne with Randy Rhoads/Diary of a Madman theater tour. The place was built in 1928, seats 1,832 people and we were in the 14th row. Absolutely incredible. (Notice all the details I remembered for this one? Saved the mind altering substances for AFTER this show!)

Hell, I'd seen a dozen lame country/western shows with my folks before I went to my first metal concert. I don't think any of those really count, however. |

Pep Patty, you still suck for seeing Randy Rhoads live. I am just kidding....please don't take it personally. |
