motorola, i agree that gary didn't fit with thin lizzy. seen the live in australia vid? he is like a sore thumb. but the man can play. i have never been a fan, so I can't comment on his recent works. still got the blues is tha last I heard and that did nothing for me.
i gotta pull out my TL cds and look up that still in love with you. i could've sworn gary did a version somewhere, somehow...hahahaha

so many great solos to choose from. schenker has to qualify at least 50 times but my favorite of his is the first solo on LIGHTS OUT.
my favorite speed solo and melodic solos are on the same album, however. speed= fast as a shark. melodic-princess of the dawn. both of these are, of course, on accepts all time classic restless and wild album. something about those germans. |
