I dont think that topics that arent about metal are bad, so long as they are still somewhat intelligent. The point of the board as i see it is to discuss things from a metal standpoint. people that are in here share metal in common and therefor other views may be similar in in many ways. in other boards people may think in other ways that metal fans dont identify with or they may not identify with us.

I think you should also note Satariel, that the messages were all just erased. I havent been here very often lately but the last time i came on just before the messages were erased, there were quite a few good messages on here and 90% were good metal related topics.

When I post a topic I try to make it appealing to someone who might not know as much. I think its better to have a little fun with it and allow people to show their creativity then have a cold sterile text book discussion. The looser the forum the wider the comfort zone. It allows a greater chance to know the board members on a personal level. Beside I have seen this board go up to 20+ pages and there is always room for off topic.
