Thanks my friends for you answers! I will take
them into serious cosideration!
Yesterday i bought the following Cds:
Iron Maiden's BNW , Nativity In Black 2, Tiamata's Clouds
and Beastie Boys Anthology (!).
I'm also planning to buy In Flames and Zakk Wylde's new Cds
and i'm thinking about Alice Cooper's Brutal
Planet and Demons And Wizards.
Thanks again! |

Here's my six favorites of the year so far (and I have quite a few from this year):
1. Immortal--Damned in Black (Black mixed with death mixed with thrash, absolutely excellent)
2. Soilwork--The Chainheart Machine (Gothenburg)
3. Deceased--Supernatural Addiction (thrash)
4. Vader--Litany (Europeans playing American-style death)
5. Destruction--All Hell Breaks Loose (German thrash, just got it recently)
6. Summoning--Stronghold (actually it's from '99, but I just got it this month, and it's something else. A side-project of a couple members of Abigor, in case you've heard of them. Black-metallish vocals, with but lots of very slow, highly melodic keyboards. That description might make you think of Dimmy Borgir, but Summoning is nothing like them. Summoning is so much better that DB isn't even worth comparing to them). |

Raider, you and I have very similar tastes in extreme music. I love Summoning. Have you tried Limbonic Art (techno black metal ala new Ulver, Dodheimsgard) and Vintersorg (Swedish Viking metal, clean and harsh vocals)? If not, give em a whirl! |

Metalfilm:
I've seen their names mentioned, but never heard much about 'em. I'll see if I can find some MP3s (i.e. I'll "download some communism"). |

Crusader,
The Lyadrive is that good?? No way did I expect it to be worth buying/listening.
It's been somewhat disappointing when it came to the new releases by the classic NWOBHM bands [Sweet Savage, Blitzkrieg, Savage "Holy Wars", etc]
