I second Priest's British Steel.. good pick me up album. Also like something in the vain of April Wine's First Glance, or some good old Thin Lizzy. Old Van Halen can do the trick too.

I usually crank up some Heep (especially the Sonic Origami tunes), Purple, Badlands, Priest, Tull, Maiden, UFO and sing along to chase away the blues.
