It's pretty cool hearing everybody talk about Iced Earth. I bought one of their cd's years ago. I haven't heard any comments on it though. What do you think of Iced Earth - "Night of the Stormrider"? It's the only one I have....for now!
Latest CDs:
Spirit Caravan * "Dreamwheel" (EP)
Smoke in Sunshine * (Demo) These guys are great!!!
sHEAVY * "Electric Sleep" Ozzy/Sabbath fans should really check this one out!
Next up:
Orange Goblin * "Time Travelin Blues"
Roachpowder * "Viejo Diablo"
The underground has always and will always keep metal alive. Don't forget to try new things sometimes instead of always buyin "'ol reliable" or "the great old stuff". Help these (any) bands out. Somewhere your new favorite band is out there...waiting.....
Peace. |

Recent CD additions include the following.
Voivod: "Phobos" "Angel Rat" "The outer limits" & Kronik for a grant total of $4 CDN - beat that bargain hunters.
Amen "Amen" - the Sex Pistols on metal steroids - I love this.
Dio "Dream Evil" - Cheap Trick "Music for Hangovers" - Budgie "Power Supply" picked up the rest of the back catalog including a autographed copy of Squawk on vinyl - Type O "World coming Down" - Doubledrive 1000 yard stare - Ted Nugent "Nugent" & Free for All remasters & My Dying Bride "The Angel and the Dark River without a doubt one of the most depressing suicide inducing CD's I've ever heard.

First, Paul G. You suck, you bargain freako! I am sooo jealous! Regarding Gonzo, I have the remastered versions of Ted Nugent, Free-for-All and Cat Scratch Fever. You said you got Nugent, did you mean the first one? Have they moved on to re-release the late-70s/early 80s stuff yet (Scream Dream, etc)?? Lemme know. Oh, and My Dying Bride, wow. "The Cry of Mankind"...every time I play that, I keep all sharp instruments in the other room!

Hippy:
I have the latest ones "Alive" and "Something Wicked . . ." I understand from reading here that earlier Iced Earth is somewhat different . I'd also be curious to hear what the folks think. |

Cool on finding all those Voivod cds. The Outer Limits beings one of my favourite albums of the 90's. Jack Luminous is the ULTIMATE EPIC tune! |

Just in this afternoon:
Motorhead No Sleep Till Hammersmith
Raven Rock Until You Drop
Trust 1983
Accept Breaker
Tank Filth Hounds
Holocaust Spirits Fly
Sweet Savage Killing time
I forgot how much Filth Hounds rips! And it's been a long time since I heard Rock Until you Drop...My speakers are still SMOKING! Avoid Spirits Fly (poor production) and the jury is still out on Killing time...I got it because I though Viv Campbell was playing on it...even though the cover appears to be autographed (whooptidoo), still disappointed.
