I know this is a rock board, but today it's the blues. And although I cheer for the Fords, the world lost a legend today and I feel like I lost a friend.
R.I.P. Dale.
You will be missed. |

Oh, yeah. Heard about Dale Earnhardt's sudden demise. The Ayrton Senna of NASCAR (without the attitude). Never watched a lot of NASCAR on TV, but hearing about his death was a shock..... |

Yeah, bad scene. I couldn't believe that one considering how minor the crash looked when you think of some of the crashes of the past. I guess it just reinforces how fast these guys are going and how little it takes to end someones life.
Bad deal, tragic loss. |

Dale Earnhardt is definitely a legend. I grew up watching him, and it does feel like losing somebody close. NASCAR will never be the same without #3 The Man in Black out there. My condolences to his family, friends, and race fans everywhere. |

I wasn't the biggest fan of him, but I respected him and it is indeed sad when someone of that much status dies......... |

Holy crap, I can't believe it. I'll be honest, I hate NASCAR, but I always thought he was cool b/c of his attitude and aggressive driving reputation. This is sad, God bless him and his family. |
