After hearing the title track on the "Thrash Patrol" compilation, I decided to check them out further, and boy, am I floored. This band churns out some classic thrash with a melodic touch. Definitely in my top 5 favorite thrash albums, even though it's only a recent addition to my collection.
Favorite cuts: Face In The Sky, Falling Fast, SOULS OF BLACK, Love To Hate |

I would actually rate this as one of my least favorite of theirs. But still, bad Testament still kicks almost everyone else's a$$!
My favorite of theirs is either Low or The New Order. Or maybe The Gathering... Hmm, I guess you just can't go wrong with Testament! |

SOB is a weird one - it was my introduction to the band, so I'll always have a soft spot for it, and at any rate I mostly love it. But apparently, even the band itself didn't much care for it, as it was rushed to completion so they could tour with Megadeth and Judas Priest, and it's managed to garner a pretty bad rep over the last ten years.
Man, when this came out, me and a girl named Carla (Carla, whatever happened to you?) were the ONLY people who dug Testament - they got NO respect at the time. Now look at 'em... |

I like all of Testament's CD's. My introduction to this band was Practice what you Preach which is still one of my favorite CD's of all time, but The Gathering just F*cking blew me away!! That CD is freakin awesome!!!
To Something Wicked- If you get any Testament CD, make it The Gathering, you won't be disapointed! |

Second to least favorite. Its beat by the ritual, which just sucked! |

the fact that Testament fans always bag on 'The Ritual' and 'Souls...' is the reason why I don't buy any other Testament discs.
Much like Megadeth, I like the CDs that their core fans hate, and find their fans' favs unlistenable...

Hey, I liked _The Ritual_...well, except for "The Sermon", which kinda blows, but it's got a lot of great songs on there, like "Troubled Dreams", "As The Seasons Grey", and "Let Go Of My World". |
