Just want to say hello to everyone.
who here is into metal? what are your favorite bands?
Some of faves are Amorphis, In Flames, Death, Cradle of Filth, At the Gates, God Dethroned, Hypocrisy, Slayer, Old Metallica and Megadeth...the list goes on and on.........

And, bridging the generation gap further, I should say that In Flames and UFO are both among my very favorite bands of all time. |

Hey, I like a lot of those bands you mentioned. Several of them I have albums by, and others I have MP3s that make me want to get the album.
However, you marked yourself as a target for one of my pre-CD purchase inquiries. I've listened to a bunch of Amorphis MP3s and have been wanting to get one of their albums, but one from when they were using death vocals on all songs. Is "Tales from a Thousand Lakes" the best from that period? |

Raider, ABSOLUTELY BUY Tales from the Thousand Lakes. Not only is that in the style you are looking for, but it is one of the LANDMARK albums of the 1990s! |
