i know springsteen did nebraska about charles starkweather, and macabre did dahmer and specializes in songs about psychos---as does church of misery from japan, but im talking individual songs.
213 by slayer is about dahmer (213 was his apartment number in wisconsin) those apartments have now been demolished.
dead skin mask by slayer is about another notorious wisconsin killer ed gein who hung up his female victims in a barn like cattle. he killed his mother and some social worker who came out to the farm to see how crazy ed was doing but never got home. it is true that he skinned her face and during a full moon put it on his and danced nude. pieces of ed geins farm were sold on ebay about 6 months ago.
if you know of any other songs like this fill me in with details |

Morbid theme indeed...
"Jack The Ripper" - Judas Priest
Saw another band (can't remember who at the moment) who did a song entitled "Cereal Killer" |

Serial killer songs:
"Bloodbath In Paradise" Ozzy
"Murders In The Rue Morgue" Iron Maiden
"Night Prowler" AC/DC (albeit wrongly interpreted by Richard Ramirez, the Son Of sam killer)
And Green Jelly was the band that did "Cereal Killers".
What an uninspired post.... |

Slayer's "Gemini" is about a fictitious serial killer, Gemini, from William Peter Blatt's _Legion_ (made into the movie _Exorcist III_). |

quote
"Murders In The Rue Morgue" Iron Maiden
Murders in the Rue Morgue is a short story by Edgar Allen Poe.

Sorry Bro, Richard Ramirez was the Nightstalker in L.A. Son of Sam was David Berkowitz in New York. You are right that Richard Ramirez used to cruise for victims while listening to the Night Prowler song though. In fact, one of the pieces of evidence that helped identify Richard Ramirez was his AC/DC hat. |

"Elisabeth Bathory" by Venom
"Woman of Night's Desire" by Bathory
Both about the same person. You've probably heard the story. |

how about Mentally Yours by Savatage(maybe it was just a crazy guy not a total serial killer)
Killers- by Maiden
Am I Evil by Diamond Head
Black Friday by Megadeth
Killing is my Business by Megadeth
although none of those songs are about real murderers. and the Jack the ripper one is too easy, cause all those songs are just called Jack the Ripper(as with Iced EArth), the Ripper(as with Judas Priest), or Wrath of the Ripper(as with Grim Reaper). |

Ed didn't kill his mother...but its postulated that he killed his brother. His only other victim was a general store clerk. He primarily robbed graves to make his furniture and "outfits." Psycho, Silence of the Lambs, and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre are just a few of the films take from his legend. |
