PORN!
Just kidding, I don't have a DVD player yet (unless you count the DVD drive on my computer). I am still holding out until I can get one with the hard disk and burner so I can put Green Bay Packer games on DVD! That will kick butt! But until those are cheap enough........... |

Stargate: SG-1, first season.
I don't particularly like this show, but my roommate got this on DVD and riffling through the (extremely cheesily written) plot synopses takes me to a few I'm curious about. One has Vikings in it! |

Trolltider
To all Swedes: Det är min fru som har använt den sist!
To all non-Swedes: This is the new Heavy Metal group from Sweden, that play some sort of Nordic black metal, Trolltider = Trolltimes. Not!
As I said in Swedish, it's my wife that used the DVD-player last. This is a "worldfamous in Sweden" Swedish TV serial for kids, played in December 1979. It's a Julkalender, a 24 episode serial, always played from the 1:st to the 24:th of December, which they have showed a different every year since 1960.
My favourite is Sunes Jul from 1991, even if Teskedsgumman is a classic. |

Well I kicked back and enjoyed the dvd until 2 Minutes went haywire (broken picture/sound). Took the dvd out and discovered a major scratch on it. Immediately checked the second disc and it was covered in glue (adhesive for the nub). I hope Scrape Records will exchange it. Be careful if you buy the EMI Canada version of the RIR DVD. |
