The first 10 bands set for next year's Sweden Rock Festival (3 days in June) are now offcial:
TWISTED SISTER
Y&T
SONATA ARCTICA
KAMELOT
BUDGIE
TANKARD
PEER GÜNT
KROKUS
BLIND GUARDIAN
JETHRO TULL

Wow.
At the risk of sounding like a total crabass, I wouldn't walk across the street to see this show. Twisted Sister? Y&T? Krokus?? Jethro Tull??
Count me out.

Not that I'll actually make it to this show, but it's cool that they seem to have something for everyone perhaps with the exception of Lars. Maybe they'll add some killer speed metal bands and some death metal and it will seem like a better billing.

I must say these festivals seem a little less cool to me though now that some of those European bands(Blind Guardian for instance) have actually made to the states.

I've still got to see Helloween, Running Wild, Nightwish, and Udo in some form.

Hmmm. Not all of the bands suck. I'd go to see Y&T,Blind Guardian,Kamelot,and Budgie.

I'd go - I'm one of Krokus' 3 defenders in the free world and I think Budgie are one of the most underrated bands in history!
