Ra has its moments. Audiovent has some hook. As far as gnu-metal goes, I'll take earthtone 9 (godly! and much missed!), Nothingface, Mudvayne, Slipknot, Puya, System of a Down (if they are even nu-metal), Deftones... |

i wonder why SOAD is always considered new-metal(i refuse to us "nu"), they do not sound at all like Deftone, Alien Ant Farm, LimpD*ck or Korn. |

SOAD and Mudvayne aren't too bad. I don't really listen to numetal too often though.
Is SatanicYak a real band? It sounds like something that would come from the Yeti. |

Yes, the Satanic Yeti!
SatanicYak, btw, was a joke name I coined for "Satanic Black" before "Satanic Yeti" caught on. |

I can't tell if you were being sarcastic or not. Does Satanic Yak really own for you?
I always thought the whole thing sounded kindof goofy with the over done satanic image, but I'd have to give a heads up to the guys in the band for doing something they love at least. |
