Didn't Alaska have a band called Pandemonium? |

Kix is from the Maryland, Pennsylvania area. I think most are from Maryland though in Hagerstown. |

There was a progressive metal band named Altura (had a CD out on Magna Carta records, which was pretty good) that were from North Carolina.
Wisconsin = Last Crack
Minnesota = The Coup De Grace
Iowa = Slipknot
Since others already got Illinois, Michigan and Indiana, I think that takes care of my region. |

Shit yeah, I do...I always heard that "Slaughterhouse" song in all those ads for _Wild At Heart_ was by Megadeth, but I found out differently and had a long-remembered learning experience about ordering CD's.
Ordered it from Sam The Record Man...waited a month, gave up. Ordered it from HMV...got it in a week. A year and a half later, I get a call from Sam The Record Man...
...man, I'm glad that store went tits up.
Anyway, I always thought that was a really cool album (especially "B.N.R."!) but it was stolen in the break-in of 1994...all I have of it now is the tablature book. I'll snag it on ebay one of these days. |

Tennessee -- Tora Tora and possibly Every Mothers Nightmare (not exactly anything to be proud of). I think the guy from Pentagram that is now in Xian band Place of Skulls is from Knoxville, TN (Victor Griffin) |
