Motorhead - '1916'= WWI

Iron Maiden - 'Aces High' = WWII (Battle Of England)

Iron Maiden - 'Tailgunner' = WWII (Allied raids over Europe and Japan)

Iron Maiden - 'Run Silent, Run Deep' = WWII (there's a movie by the same name of submarine warfare)

Iron Maiden - 'Where Eagles Dare' = WWII (based on the book and movie)

Motorhead - 'Death Or Glory' = events of both wars (and many more) are depicted in the lyrics

Saxon - 'Broken Heroes' = as above

Saxon - 'Machine Gun' can be any modern war, but probably WWII (because of the traces)

Blue Oyster Cult - 'ME 262' = WWII (obvious isn't it?)

Grave Digger - 'Enola Gay (drop the bomb)' = WWII (another obvious one)

Thin Lizzy - 'Angel Of Death' = part of the lyrics concern WWII

Anthrax - 'The Enemy' = WWII (the Holocaust)

Metal Church - 'Western Alliance' = WWII (the Allies)

Riot - 'Soldier' (it can be any war but...)

Megadeth - 'Take No Prisoners' = WWII

Black Sabbath - 'Glory Ride' (I believe is WWII like the Kamikazes, but not sure).

Metallica - 'One' (usually associated with WWII, because of the landmine, but...)

I'm tired...

For Whom the Bell Tolls is about the Spanish Civil War(1936-1939). So it takes place just before WWII.

Hiroshima - Uli Jon Roth(WWII)

I figured WWI because it mentions barbed wire, No Man's Land, and "wheels of terror" as tanks can still work as they did appear during the war. WWI had tracer flares, I'm looking right now at a book with a gouache by the German Expressionist Otto Dix called Tracer Flares dated 1917.

Alcatrazz: Horoshima Mon Amour

Would Slayer's "Angel of Death" count? It's about the holacaust, so it's set in WWII.

Cool! Because flake and anti-aircraft fire (including traces) were more important in WWII, I thought that was a clue, but I do believe you are right on your assesment.

Hiroshima mon Amour. Ah yes, a song that contains one of the best guitar solos in musical history. Excellent choice Easy 8!

SS-3 by Slayer
I think this one is about the assasination of Heydrich ("the hangman of Prague") and the following reprisal, the liquidation of the village Lidice. The village was burned and all men above 16 years of age were shot. This happened on June 10, 1942.
