I know it's been years kyuss13, but every time I pick up a little-known late 80's/early 90's metal CD from the $2 used bin, I check it for your lyrics. My recent acquisitions: Sister Whiskey, WildSide, Blonz, 21 Guns, Sweet FA. None of them seem to have your song. I'll keep lookin'... |

That was Adam Ant.

Those lyrics sound like Motorhead or Goddess Of Desire LOL
Perhaps George Thorogood and the Destroyers? |

Closest thing I can think of is Skid Row's Get the Fu#k Out. Has the line, "I puke, I stink bit#h get me a drink." |

I remember that song, also on Z-Rock in the greater Seattle area, same time frame. I've searched online occasionally when it's popped into my head over the years, and the only thing I can figure is that it was something recorded in house specifically for/by Z-Rock, as I have never heard it or found reference to it anywhere else, with the exception of this thread. I don't remember much more of the lyrics than you do, kyuss13, but I do recall the chorus started out with "Cuz every girl's dreaming of a Marlboro Man like me" right before the "I drink, I smoke..." line.
Sorry I have nothing more concrete to add to this thread beyond the reassurance that you didn't imagine it. |
