Anybody else heard any of this yet? It's not scheduled for a US release until March (it will be out tomorrow in Europe), but the tracks are on newsgroups for download if you know where to look.
I'm about 3 songs into it so far, and they have really outdone themselves. The production on this CD is top shelf, the riffing is classic Exodus, the drumming intense, and Zetro has never sounded better.
This is turning out to be, IMO, their best effort ever, including Bonded By Blood. |

Cool, I am waiting in line for that one, have not heard a note, and intentionally will wait until the disc is in my hands, kinda in a way to pay tribute to the old school excitement of opening a new bayarea thrash disc...
Glad to hear some nice words about it though, antoher early '04 disc, better ask for a raise pretty quick here, huh... |

I thought Zetro was kicked out of the band, at least that's what I read somewhere (might have been the Hardradio Hard News page). |

I don't know about that...he wasn't the first guy they had in mind for a reformation, but Paul died. |

Sweet, they even have the video for "War Is My Sheppard" on their site (www.nuclearblast.de).
Another gem: they have the video for S.O.D. "Seasoning the Obese" (which if you haven't ever heard it is a great Slayer parody)
Do you wanna fry!!!!!!! |

i was looking forward to this release on the 23rd.....sadly there were no stores in town that had it.
i know i can get it online, but it did bring to my attention the lack of availability of stores, let alone stores with a selection.
i am also surprised there isn't a bigger demand for this. Its sounds classic, something you wouldn't hear from anyone in the last 10 years. |
