Tomorrow marks the first day of a whole WEEK OFF for Mijarra. Cool thing is, I didn't even have to burn any vacation time, it just worked out that way due to working extra days last week and the Thanksgiving holiday. Now, the trouble is, I haven't used a sick day or vacation day in ages, so I don't know what to do with myself! I've made some plans so far:
Monday: Go to guitar shop and scope out some possible aquisitions
Tuesday: Go to dinner with a couple of friends
Wednesday: Go Christmas shopping and beat the rush for a damn change
Thursday: Thanksgiving! Eat turkey, drink beer, watch football
Aside from that I have no idea. So tell me what you would do with yourself if you had a surprise week off this week so I can get some ideas on how to occupy myself. Otherwise I'm gonna end up posting 837 messages to the HardBoard, or I'll find myself going into work and working for free! |

I've been out of work for the last year. I don't know what to tell you. A week off for me would mean I had a damn job in the first place. I am kinda buzzed and tomorrow is Monday. I don't think that helps. |

I've got the some problem, except I've been out of college for just 6 months and in that time I haven't got a job.
Well I'd say Mijarra maybe you could go sledding(contrary to popular belief you don't need snow for that), try some ice skating, or try going to a museum.
Or you could sit at home and talk to me on Hardboard for much of your day, cause that's what I do. Or perhaps you could also add in a book something I also do a little of. |

Oh yeah, and training for a marathon can eat up some good time. Maybe you should try that. |

I'd probably try to write something. Either that or I'd waste the whole time wondering what I'd do with myself.
I'm kind of in the same boat. I thought I'd have to work Thanksgiving and the day after, but I got off and called off today, which means I don't have to return to work until Saturday. |
