I'm surprised nobody's posted anything about it yet. I just saw it this afternoon, and I have mixed feelings about it. It started out slow as hell, then the action picked up somewhat, not to mention the story was pretty confusing. I did like the comic book paneling throughout though. Anybody else seen it yet? |

Yeah, I've seen it and as you can tell from the thumb pointing down that I can't recommend it. I thought that it just did not work and I would explain further but that would have to include spoilers if you all would be ok with that. |

I didn't think it was very good. I'm not a big fan of the comic, so maybe the long drawn out intro was more interesting to readers of the comic, but I just thought it was boring and kept falling asleep during that section(don't worry though I kept on top of the basic plot). Then the action finally came. And I liked some of it. But not enough. No single action scene made me go "wow that was cool!" It was all the same kind of stuff. Him bounding around the desert with helicopters trying to destroy him(and of course not being able to do so). It also ends weird. I didn't think the ending was very good. Maybe if it had just been composed of the action sequences I would think it was ok, but the bookends of the movie(most importantly the awful first hour) bring the rating down significantly. I'd give it a (4) out of 10. |

Still haven't seen it...I've heard it's good story- and character-wise, but the FX I've seen in the ads just suck.
Which isn't to say they'd ruin the movie for me; I'd still like to see it but I'm definitely in no rush. |

It was boring, I kept falling asleep during the first half of the film and the "comic style" became tedious after a while.
Jake- I think the rain forest ending was telling the viewer that there'll be a sequel. |

Must be. Unfortunately I won't be there for the second episode. |

This is what I actually like and I will probably be there for the next one cause it sets up to be much better I hope. |
