quote: Steve Vai joined Alcatrazz, and made one of the worst follow-up albums of all time in "DISTURBING THE PEACE." Disturbing indeed. Steve actually played acid jazz riffs and solos on what was supposed to be a metal record.
You are whacked! That was a great record and was very metallic. "God Bless Video","Wire and Wood","Sons and Lovers"? Hello!
quote: Idiot.
I hear that.
quote: Alcatrazz, after Graham and Yngwie lead them to a very good debut album which went gold in the U.S., was dead within two years of Steve's evil joining.
Alcatrazz had a gold record in the US? |

I once saw a documentary about a kid who went to hell and had a guitar duel to save his soul and also the soul of his older African American friend. Who do you think Satan chose to represent him? Steve Vai!
I think you're right on, man! |

Have to disagree. I love those discs, especially "Eat'em and Smile". That disc is a classic.

"Eat 'em and Smile," and "Skyscraper," were both complete shit compared with the Van Halen debut. |

This is very true, but it can also be argued that following VH albums never topped the original either, though some may have came close to rivaling it. |

Well if by chanve Mr. Vai is indeed the corruptor of Zappa, Alctrazz, Roth and Whitesnake, I guess (as far as I'm concerned) it's a good thing he didn't join Deep Purple or Iron Maiden. |

In fact it's quite the opposite. All the bands mentioned went downhills RIGHT AFTER Vai left. The albums that followed Vai's departure are usually shite, DLR's A Little Ain't Enough possibly excluded. |
