I'm looking for metal songs based on actual historical events/people. Anyone with some ideas they are willing to post?

I've got the recent ones by Iced Earth and of course several ones from Iron Maiden...looking for others

Thanks in advance

Here's a few...

Krokus: Russian Winter. Great tune.

Sabbath: War Pigs and Iron Man are about the German General Staff and Hitler.

Sabbath: Who are You? is about Stalin.

UFO: Lights Out in London is about the blitz, 1940.

Accept: Balls to the Wall is about the cold war and Germany's desire to overthrow COmmunism in the east and be re-united.

Prong: The Rude Awakening album is a concept record about Communism. Great record.

Crimson Glory: Red Sharks is about Stalinism.

Metallica: Harvest of Sorrow.

Finally, there are several Guns & Roses songs that are about how mad Axl Rose was when he learned that he has a small penis. They re-create his venting.

Motorhead: A cool tune about the first world war. Forget the name.

Saxon: Crusader and Sailing to America. Both good tunes. Also "The Eagle has Landed."
