Caffery - Faces
Jon Oliva's Pain -'Tage Mahal [is this one of the dumbest titles and covers in a long time or what?]
Oliva's Pain is fairly lame- I should have been hinted by the fact that his backing band is the same as Circle II Circle. Caffery has some interesting stuff, but a lot of the best stuff isn't very metal [Bag O' Bones and some of the ballads]. I think it may grow on me, though the guitar tone is weak and these songs don't seem to be really catchy except for Bag o bones and Pisses Me Off. |

Just bought Damage Plan and Highway to Hell.
I've got Megadeth's new one on the way.
Waiting for the weekend to pick up Robert Plant's new one and then later in the month I'll probably pick up the Def Leppard's new Rock of Ages GHs double cd. It's a much better mix than that other GH cd they have. |

All the UFO classics such as No Place To Run, Lights Out, Force It, etc., are currently available as Japanese imports (which are never cheap). I bought NPTR from a dealer on ebay, and saved myself $10 as opposed to if I bought it on cdnow. |
