I just had to cancel a pending amazon.com order due to a holiday season cash flow problem. |

One pleasant surprise about _Tribute To The Gods_ was that the AC/DC covers were probably the best ones. |

Tribute To The Gods was ok,but I thought that their choice of covers were too obvious. |

Down II - Bustle In Your Hedgerow
Crowbar - Sonic Excess in it's Purest Form
System of A Down - Steal This Album
Saliva - Back Into Your System
I don't buy a lot of albums. I usually DL a few songs from the CD and listen to them, THEN, if they have several good tunes I buy the entire CD! |

Just got for very cheap(combined cost 3.70):
Mindfunk- Dropped
Spocks Beard(can't remember the title)
So far I'd say Spock's beard proves to me that I'm not into progressive metal. But Mindfunk recorded some above average grunge with Dropped. I'll have to listen to these a little more. |

Thanks for the feed back. I was wondering how Jon Schaffer would sound singing AC/DC tunes. I think I'll wait and buy their next release.
What did you think of the Transylvania remake on Horror Show? I thought they did a good job remaking it. |

I thought the remake was kindof pointless. The song was already perfectly metal and they didn't really add anything to it except maybe record it with some better production. Next time they should pick a song that has vocals so at least Barlow's voice could make a difference in things. |

Actually, it was Matt singing the AC/DC tunes, and while he sounds completely different from Bon of course, I think he does a hell of a job.
As for "Transylvania"...pretty much what Jake said. |
