I'm still jobless. I've gotten kindof discouraged. Fortunately my parents still let me live at home.

I'm working a full time job as an "inventory control specialist" for McGraw-Hill industries. I too have a history degree, but i am going back to get a degree in secondary education...oh the joys of being almost 32 and working for a company that is willing to pay for an education degree...and i get 50% off any textbooks that mcgraw publishes.

Someday I think I'll get one of those secondary degrees in education, but I don't want to go for that until I have some work experience.

I am a porn star (yeah sure).

Like JosephC I'm a Chemist, the difference is the degree I had from my country is not recognized in USA, so I decided to go for a MS to improve my chances of working here. That took me back to college, where I've been paid for making undergraduates suffer , meanwhile i'm doing my research.

V.P of a company that sells Truck & Trailer Parts. It took 19 years to get here but it's nice to be at the top.

In michigan, it's easier to get a teaching job in a high school with a secondary ed degree. Seeing as i would need a bunch of those classes anyway before i get a masters in education (required by many states for teachers within 7 years of starting to teach) I figured i would get them out of the way while working for a company that'll pay for me to go to school

Don't get me wrong, Joe, I think that's a swell idea to do it the way you're doing it, but I'm only 22 and I don't have any work experience, besides working in a movie theater and then less than a week working for those fu(kers at Cutco.
