I am still a student in college right now. Going to go for a Masters in fine art after I graduate, then try and get a teaching job at a university and paint for shows and all that good stuff.
Right now I just sell on Ebay and do commissions (and my parents really really love me so I get money from them, I love you mom and dad!)
Of course, I am sure a lot of us have parents or a parent that really really loves us but doesn't give us money. I don't want to sound like....arrghh you get the point. |

I work with disabled elderly people in a theraputic recreational capacity. Many of the residents I work with are afflicted with Alzheimers disease or other forms of dementia, others have physical limitations such as post-stroke paralysis or spinal cord injuries. I love my job, but I have to admit it is the LAST thing I ever thought I would end up doing for a living. Funny how life works sometimes. |

Jake,
In Cali, you can take a test (cbest) and get a certificate which allows you to teach. You may want to check that out there. I am thinking of doing that here...
