I'm going to check out WASP tonight with local boys Cage opening up. My first time seeing WASP. I'll let everyone know how it goes. Hopefully they'll have pyro. Yeah, yeah fire!!

Until Blackie Lawless does the following things, I will continue to fukk with him on the net:

1) Bring back Chris Holmes.
2) Stop sucking in his cheeks on album covers.
3) Promise to never make another concept album.
4) Get rid of his beer gut.

It's a tall order, Blackie my Bitch. Are you up to it??????

Well, you can scratch #4 off your list. He's gotten rid of his beer gut.

They didn't have any pyro which was a disappointment, since I was expecting it.

mtlhd, good retort.

I'm sorry, but the gloves are off. Crimson Idol is the best album Blackie ever made. Ask him, and he'll tell you.

My only wish is that they got the same drum style from this new CD. CI had one if the best mixes I've ever heard. I want to hear that "WHO in steroids" sound again...

In all honesty, I just want bands like WASP to regain their popularity...they deserve it. Then again, I'm hoping the same for bands like Spock's Beard...oh well

Completely agree with Metal1... CI is probably WASP's greatest triumph...

Too bad there were no pyros at the show though... I missed the band when they were my way so I was wondering whether to travel to see them elsewhere...

The Headless Children is W.A.S.P.'S best album I think.Crimson was the last decent album Blackie put out.
It's unbelivable how much Neon God sounds like Crimson.Obviously Blackie ran out of ideas a long time ago.
Shame, the guy used to rock.Hope the live show still has some teeth.

Crimson Idol sucks. Who ever needed/wanted a concept album about being a whiny rock star?

The W.A.S.P. debut and K.F.D. are their best, by far.

Why bring back Chris Holmes? The guy has to be one of the worst live guitarists and performers I've ever seen. I remember Blackie saying that he played all of Chris's parts on the early records... which is probably why they sound good!
Oh and by the way their best album ever is Headless Children, with the bonus tracks. Did Chris play his own solos on that album?

WHy bring back Chris Holmes? Because W.A.S.P. is way better with him.

As far as slagging his playing goes, listen to the solo on "The Torture Never Stops" and you will immediately know that Holmes is one of the best. Just the right combination of musicality and speed.

By the way, no fukkin way did Blackie Lawless play guitar on the early records. He simply doesn't have it at anything like Chris Holmes's level.
