OK, sell this one to me. Or put me off it completely. Either way is good.
See, I really hate growled vocals. But, I love Floor Jansen's voice. I bought Exordium, and I think "Beneath" might be my favourite song of 2004 so far. But, that track with the growling....I've played it once and couldn't bear to listen to it again. I've got "Invisible Circles" in my cart at The End, it's only $11. The 60 second clip where Floor's and the other vocals are doubled was about tolerable to me. Should I order it, or is there too much growling for me to consider it worthwhile? |

Well, in my MP3 player (also known as my laptop,) I have some new albums I'm LOVING

Blaze - Blood and Belief
Pain of Salvation - 12:5
Takara - Best of
Van Halen - Best of Both Worlds
Power Quest - Their 2 CD's (forget the names)

I like it... a lot. Since I like the Death vocals, and the way they play against Floor's vocals, it's hard for me to guage whether their presence will be enough to ruin the CD for you. Floor definitely dominates the disc. And occasionally, when the male vocals come in, they are clean vox.
There are no songs on this disc in which Death vocals are used more than clean vocals. So, it you can take them in small quantities, I'd definitely recommend this CD. It will most likely find it's way to my Top 10 of 04.
