January: Iron Maiden with Arch Enemy at the Montreal Bell Centre. Maiden were great as always (third time seeing them) but AE sucked. Iced Earth should have opened. The only criticism for Maiden was that they did not play 2 Minutes. However, they did play Lord of the Flies which I thought was cool.
August: Busan Rock Festival, South Korea. Dark Tranquility and Xandria. Both bands were fantastic. One Thought was the highlight from DT. I met both bands after their sets. |

Lets see
seen Opeth and Moonspell in Jan. great show, Opeth rules!!
then Deep purple and thin lizzy in feb. got to go for free so it wasnt bad.
Gwar in May, great show, got way covered in Blood.
then a big dryspell.
Deicide in October, awsome show, got to meet Glen Benton for the second time, very funny guy. a great set. Lunatics of God's creation live
is worth the ticket price alone.
Gwar and Dying fetus in November. Actually didnt get to see it, got kicked out before the show started, I should have quit drinking when i was buying $45 rounds of shots lol
Cradle of Filth and Arch Enemy dec 1st
great show, the other two bands just sucked bad, bleeding through and himsa. man they suck.
Arch Enemy put on a good show. although not as good a set as i seen 2 years ago at milwaukee metalfest. and cradle was brilliant.
was front and center. so got to really watch Dani sing. he is amazing.
how a guy that tiny can belt out vocals like that is beyond me.
(oh a side note, got a chance to talk to Warryl Dane at that show, and he said the new Nevermore will be out in June. although im sure that is already known by all the Nevermore fans on this site)
Already got plans for the Soilwork/Dark Tranquility/Hypocracy tour in April, and King Diamond/Black Dahila Murder/Nile/Behemoth tour
in May. |

'Twas a slow year for concerts for me...
May 10th - Iced Earth / Evergrey / Children of Bodom
Aug 5th - Ozzfest (Only stayed for Slayer and Judas Priest)
Dec 5th - Slayer / Killswitch Engage / Mastadon
Hopefully next year will bring Judas Priest, Fates Warning, Kreator, Iced Earth. Iron Maiden (probably not) and of course SLAYER! |

Iron Maiden in January
and Ronnie James Dio in ....September?
Few concerts but I got the plus of shake hands with the master Ronnie James.
And many very good quality Chilean bands.
Looking forward to Anthrax (Confirmed), Judas (Confirmed in SouthAmerica), Megadeth I hope. |
