The following update has been posted at the official website of original JUDAS PRIEST vocalist AL ATKINS: "Al goes back into the studio again soon to make a few amendments on his new album, Demon Deceiver. He wasn't 100 per cent happy with it. He has been looking for a record company to distribute it for him and thinks he is going to go with new label Metal Nations run by Jess Cox in the UK who used to own Neat Metal Records, before selling to Sanctuary Music Group. Rough Trade will distribute in Germany for them. The artwork was put together by MAGNUM bassist Al Barrow who also runs Generic Designs. The project was put together over the last ten months and features on guitars from South Africa - Mike de Jager, from BUDGIE - the once voted guitarist of the year by Guitar Magazine, Simon Lees, from DIAMOND HEAD - the brilliant Brian Tatler, on bass from hot new B'ham band THE VASELINE RATS, Al's long time friend and bassman - Pete MZ Emms, on drums Adrian Badland and Mick Hales. There's also a duet track with KANSAS vocalist/guitarist Johnny Lokke called 'Drown'. Al says that he has decided to disband THE DENIAL for now but will be reforming them at a later date with a different line up of musicians. Meanwhile he is performing at the Fill Your Head With Rock festival on Monday May 30th with Birmingham rockers The Vaseline Rats and will be singing some classic Priest songs.
