What do you think of Please Don't Touch by Motorhead? Does anyone on this thread know who is the female vocal singing the duet with Lemmy? Just curious.
Google says that Girlschool toured with Motorhead on the 1979 Overkill tour, and co-sang on "Please Don't Touch", so I'm guessing the female lead would be Kim McAuliffe or Kelly Johnson. Motorhead's manager managed Girlschool, and they were labelmates on Bronze Records. I have a "Very Best Of Girlschool" CD somewhere in my collection that has "Please Don't Touch" on it, but I can't remember for the life of me whether Lemmy sings on the version on this CD, although I'm pretty sure it's that version from the St. Valentine's Day Massacre EP. I'm 99% certain that's the female vocal.

If I understand this correctly I will list songs from this genre that I have heard countless times and have not grown tired of them at all. I will continue to bang my head to and play them by choice.

Beyond the Realms of Death- JP
Hallowed Be Thy Name- Maiden
Scream Dream- Nugent
Deuce- KISS
After Forever/Children of the Grave- Sabbath

There are a lot more than 5.

2. Helloween- Ride the Sky........ a landmark song on a landmark album...this is the song/album that started melodic power metal, as we know it....
I've got to take issue with this statement. This song didn't start melodic powermetal as we know it, because the only songs in this style that were better are from Helloween themselves. They are Victim of Fate, Guardian, and Phantoms of Death.

Good to see you around again by the way.
