Who's laughin' at Crue's Greatest Hits? "Enslaved" and "Bitter Pill" are classic!

Matt: What all is on the Melancholy ep? And where didja find it?
My newest addition is "Something Wicked This Way Comes" by Iced Earth...I can't believe what I've been missing all this time. I love this band! |

Metalfilm:
It's official now. I hate you. You're always getting your hands on these hard-to-find CDs. That said, though, I wouldn't want to pay the price you mentioned from Ebay, considering that I already have two of the songs from that album, but still.... |

I was thinking the exact same thing when I got it, too. And I wasn't expecting it either, because I had already heard a bunch of songs from the one-disc version of "Days of Purgatory," which was mostly their very old stuff, and it just didn't impress me much. I only got "Something Wicked..." because I had a coupon and so many people had recommended it. But now that I've heard it, I'm just going to HAVE to have "Burnt Offerings" and "Dark Saga."
BTW: The Iced Earth website is giving August 2000 as the tentative date for their next release, which will be a whole album about the storyline from the Something Wicked trilogy. |

I just received a CD I ordered through Impulse Records. The band is called Crystal Ball, CD is titled "In The Beginning". Pretty good CD. They are German... I visited thier website and couldn't read the History section, so I emailed them and asked for an English version, and sent compliments to the band. I received a reply from the lead singer, Mark. Pretty damn cool, eh? I will have some clips posted on the Digital Metal site when its done.

Thanks Matt! I've taken alot of ribbing this week because I went to the concert. The geeks around here think only Limp Dick and Kid Ralph are cool...whatever
Let me just say to the girls (Heather, Kissgirl, ScorpsFan) Vince looked really good. His long hair is back, it's all blonde, he had on tight jeans (he's lost his weight) and a cut up white tee shirt, can you say yummmmmmy What a hottie! |

Can't list em' all but here are some recent discoveries that have a major impression.
The Hellacopters: picked up the entire catalog, CD/10" vinyls - they're great, think along the lines of a more commercial and rock n roll sounding Entombed and your in the ballpark.
Scorpions "Taken by Force" finally.
Collision "Coarse"
Love/Hate "Wasted in America"
Last Crack "Sinister Funkhouse #17 & Burning Time"
