I'm sure there are some of you here that still like Metallica (I cannot be the only one)--I wanted to report that the Tampa Metallica/Creed/Kid Rock/Sevendust concert was AWESOME!! I was about three feet from the stage (it was a general admission concert) and luckily I didn't sufficate from all the smoke (legal and not so legal). Creek sucked, I like their music alot but they don't do a good live show, Sevendust I missed, and unbelievably Kid Rock was GREAT! (cool I didin't get struck dead for saying that). I was amazed that he was as good as he was. It goes without saying that Metallica is the best live performing band around and they certainly didn't dissapoint me. Whatever you think of them, they really know how to put on a great show! |

Thanks for the report, Yod. Glad to see that you could show your balls and give an honest review of Kid Rock. I personally don't like his music, but I've found that a lot of bands put on good shows, despite the music. Rock on!

I saw Metallica on their 98 tour and i was really unimpressed with their actual stage presence, but maybe they had a bad day. I mean they rocked but they seemed kindof half hearted compared to what ive seen of Megadeth and some other bands.
Rob Zombie isnt very good but he is a pretty good show. If only his songs were to sound different from eachother.... |
