Phil's got a ****load side projects, and I just recently heard of this one. Anybody heard the album? I've tried to find it..."innocence from hell" is listed on Amazon.com, but has a release date of Jan. 2010!
Where can I find it and is it worth getting? |

I want to think I heard it's coming out sometime this month. You might want to check the Metal Maniacs board (www.metalmaniacs.com); there's a few Viking Crown fans there and maybe one of them knows. |

yeah, he's done a ton of side projects, but they all bore me as much as Pantera does. The man cannot sing. IMHO.

I have the first Viking Crown called Unorthodox Steps of Ritual. But in my huge back list of things to listen to, this is not priority listening. If I break down and run to it, I'll let you know. |

Okay, I just checked Metal Update, and according to them it comes out April 11, which was yesterday.
Don't know who's carrying it, though. Might want to check Necropolis |

Phil CAN sing...when he chooses to. Which isn't that often anymore.
Still, Pantera and Down are both great. Down in particular; their CD was the best of 1995, in my opinion. I got to see Down live in New Orleans, in 1998. Incredible show! I went to see one of Phil's other projects, Superjoint Ritual, a few weeks later, but unfortunately I passed out before they went on stage. Bit too much Wild Turkey that night. |

Phil goes under Anton Crowley in this band as he also does in the band Necrophagia. You have to check out Necrophagia.com and along with getting their cds check out their latest video tape that is being banned in certain countries. It sure is more extreme horror than you will ever see in a scream movie. In viking crown, he plays guitar, bass, and drums. The cd is listed as April 11 at CDnow but I think it is on back order. You can find alittle about viking crown at the necrophagia site because killjoy(necrophagia's singer)and Phil(Anton crowley) are in both bands. |
