I know they're not metal, but I think there are enough broad-minded people around here that I won't get flamed to hell and gone. Has anyone heard the "new" album yet? I haven't picked it up yet, but probably will shortly. I can't resist a new Floyd product, especially as this is the first in 5 years!
Watching Tom Jones on VH1 now....remember what I said about how broad-minded you guys are, now.... |

I agree. They are awesome! I heard on the local FM station that for this concert tour back in '80 or'81 they started to build a wall as they started playing and for the whole concert you couldn't see the band until the end when they knocked the wall down. BTW, this local station played the entire CD last night! I didn't hear it, but my husband did. |

I have not heard it yet, but I have not been very impressed with anything that they have done since Roger Waters left. But then again I have every Pick Floyd lp/CD except Dark Side of the moon. Never liked it much. So I may have strange taste.? |

t stanActually I bought "The Wall"at a pawnshop for $5, a week earlier I found Darkside of the moon, some idiot recorded over it rob zombie songs. I like a few of Floyds songs the low tempo ones like "Mother", can't stand "Run like hell". I know they are on their 3rd singer now. Who is it Gilmour? |

I only really care for pre-Dark Side of the Moon Floyd. Meddle and Atom Heart Mother being my faves.

Floyd is cool....I haven't picked up the new album, as there are things that have higher priority on my want list. But Roger Waters will be playing AmSouth Amphitheatre in Nashville on June! We are so there!!!! |

I loooove Pink Floyd! I don't have a favorite era in terms of their work, but my favorite album of theirs is Dark Side of the Moon. |
