In addition to the fine groups already mentioned, I'll add:

Rainbow (7; debut thru Bent, with a slight disappointment in Difficult to Cure)

Budgie (8; Never Turn Your Back on a Friend till the last one in '82)

Blue Oyster Cult (7; Tyranny and Mutation thru Fire of Unknown Origin)

Dark Tranquillity (4; everything)

Amorphis (4; The Karelian Isthmus thru Tuonela)

Savatage (6; Sirens thru Streets)

Scorpions (7; In Trance thru Love at First Sting)

Sentenced (4; North from Here thru Down)

Iced Earth (6; all)

Entombed (7; all; 6 if you hate Same Difference)

Riot (14; anything and everything by this band rules!)

Metalfilm1, did you forget "Fly to the Rainbow", or did you leave it out on purpose? That would make a total of 8 (10 if you included the live albums.) Hell of a run!!

And I'd have to push Priest's run out up to "Defenders"

I guess the exact albums which we feel exist in any given band's "run" is gonna differ a bit. A lot of people I know consider all Sentenced golden, but to me, the new stuff isn't quite as consistently special as some of the older records.

"MetalAndFilmExpertNo1", how can you not like the first BOC album? It's classic and should definitely (why do so many people write "definately", bugs me!) be in the "run". I personally think all albums between Agents Of Fortune and Cultusaurus Ercetus were quite weak, although they had som good tunes.

Metalfilm i was wondering if in your run for savatage you would have included Fight for the Rock, which came between Hall of the Mountain King and Power of Night i believe. i havent heard Fight For the Rock, but i heard it kindof sucked, so i was wondering if that was a legitimate run. Although personally(i dont yet have the albums before hall of the mountain king) id say everything mountain king through handful of rain was good.

in considering priest through defenders, do you consider point of entry to be good? if you do please explain ive wondered for a while now how someone could actually pick point of entry over either turbo or ram it down.

How can a UFO run not include Phenomenon? Now if you leave Phenomenon off, you can't put Mechanix, please..

How bout just a Schenker run..

Phenomenon to Perfect Timing

or his current one..

Contraband, Thank You, Walk on Water, Written in the Sand, The Unforgiven, Adventures of the Imagination.
