once again i will be beaten to death(although that happens to me all the time so i dont give a f!ck); i dont like Uli Roth, but his solo on Catch your train is really quite awesome. and the riff to virgin killer(which he surely did write as well, but we arent talking about riffs) is awesome.
Blackmore on Spanish Nights(I remember it well) from the Under the Violet Moon album(whats up with all his new album titles: "under a violet moon", "shadow of the moon", titles of songs too: "under a violet moon", "shadow of the moon", "mondtanz". did blackmore want to be an astronaut or something?) |

Jake-- I think Blackmore did want to be an astronaut and Dio wanted to be a weatherman.
I think he should have his own show on the Weather Channel. |

Randy rhoads on "over the mountain".
If you've ever seen the Iron Maiden "Raising Hell" video, the solo Dave Murray plays during "Wrath Chlid" F'N RIPS. I almost $hit my self when he played it with his teeth.
It almost made up for that damn magician running around.
Also the solo from that ratt song round and round is pretty killer. |

Uhhh...MistaScary...I didn't think there WAS a solo in "Anno Mundi."
Let me just say that Alex Skolnick's Testament solos were among some of the best ever. His replacement, James Murphy, is also pretty damned good. I've bought stuff by bands I don't usually listen to just because he appears on the CD, just to hear the solos. The man is amazing. |

Ooh, I want to add the solo from Maiden's "22 Acacia Avenue." I LOVE that solo. |
