I find that very unlikely, since he would have been 12 years old when his band the Guess Who released their first single in 1965.
He must have been born in the early to mid 1940's.
Does anybody know?
I believe his band mate CF Turner was born in 1941.
Speaking of Randy, are there any BTO fans out there? I first heard You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet in 1977 and I've been a fan ever since. I even saw them live with the classic line-up in 1991 (I think) and they were awesome.
Sure, BTO's cool. "Rock and Roll Nights" and "Jamaica" are two of my favorite songs, but strangely they never get any airplay. "You ain't seen nothing yet" and "Takin' Care of Business" are so overplayed that they almost make me want to switch the station these days though. |

BTO! BTO! BTO! BTO! BTO!
favorite BTO album: Not Fragile
favorite BTO song: Let it Ride
They were (like BOC & Nazareth) very underated. They had some great material back in the 70's, but the 80's weren't very kind to them. |

Randy actually made his first recording already in 1962 with the band Chad Allan & The Reflections.
He was born in Winnipeg in 1943.
Great band, especially "Not Fragile" and "Four Wheel Drive"! |
