Half of DT's "Change Of Seasons" are live covers. |

Hmmm, and when Dio plays 'Heaven And Hell' or 'Man On The Silver Mountain'? What about Blackmore playing 'Smoke On The Water' with Rainbow? Maybe we should polish the concept of cover

Indeed it was the Golden Earring classic, and it was a pretty good cover (and video). |

Edge Of The Blade (Journey)
Break It Up (Foreigner)
Burn (Deep Purple)
JORN IS GOD!!!
Damn right! I forgot them, which is worse considering I was hearing the album two days ago. Also worth to mention 'The Day The Earth Caught Fire' which was previously recorded by City Boy (1979) the British rock band, which for me is the along with the original 'Starfire' the best songs in the album.

P.S. And it was posted before that Lion's Share also cover it (like to hear that one).

Metallic Blue (House of Lords)

Well, I don't know if these are to be considered to be covers, as Mike Slamer, who wrote both songs, plays guitar in Steelhouse Lane. He was not an official member of the band on the first album, but it was (and is) his own baby. He was also a member of Streets.
He also wrote "Dr Love", which was initially recorded by Hardline, but later by Steelhouse Lane.
Another one just came up:
Heaven's Gate: This Town Ain't Big Enough For The Both Of Us (Sparks) |
