I guess this being hypothetical it kinda amusing. But the only thing I would give metal up for would be for the saftey and life of my wife and 2 kids. I see no other reason to give up the music that is such a part of my inner self. I eat sleep and drink music and It is something (quiet like my family or myself) that WILL NOT compromise. |

a million dollars - yep. Although I love Metal, the financial security that a well invested one million dollars could provide would be worth that sacrafice.
to be with brittney spears (she has to stay with you at least 6 months) - I don't think my wife would be too keen on this... I'll have to ask.
eternal life - This is a toughie. Can't say for sure.
to read people's minds - Nope. That kind of information would be dangerous.
to find out for sure if god does or doesn't exist - Well, if he does exist, than I'd probably have to stop listening to Metal anyway. So where's the benefit?

1. No way! What good is money if I can't buy more metal for it?!
2. Yeah right. Britney Spears instead of my beloved metal collection. Oh my... I think I'm going to be sick... *hurl*
3. How boring to live for all eternity without any metal. No wait, skip boring, that is too mild a description. Eternal life without metal would be pure torment for my soul.
4. Read peoples' minds... hmm... nahh... I'll read some metal lyrics instead. |

Yes only to #5. If I knew that, and I could prove it one way or the other, I could:
Earn a lot more than a million bucks, and
have Britney Spears and a thousand more like her, because lots of people would give anything to know the answer to this question. As for mind-reading, no, that would be horrible; I'd end up going nuts and killing myself. Eternal life without eternal youth and health would also be horrible.
If I knew God existed, I would do whatever it took to get on His good side, so I would be rewarded or at least avoid punishment. If God didn't exist, I would immediately begin raping, murdering, and doing all the other fun stuff I currently don't do, but want to. |

$1 mil - absolutely! I'd still have my hard rock, punk and pop stuff to get me by.
spears - the other 23 hours and whatever minutes per day would not be worth the "good" time with her! ( Although if I played my cards right, I could probably talk her out of more than just ONE million in 6 months' time!!! )
eternal life - NO F'N WAY. How long you wanna live, anyway??? Everyone around you dies, you end up paying $350 for a CD ( and NOT just from Kiss!! ), and you live forever as that old guy on the front porch yelling at little kids to stay off your lawn! I'll pass.
reading minds - it would be fun in very very VERY isolated instances, and would probably make me sick in most others.
truth about God - nope. Whichever way you believe, finding out you were right is anti-climactic and finding out you were wrong is depressing, so what's the point?
To tell the truth, the amount of metal I consider to be good is so small lately that I don't know if I'd even notice that it was gone. So where's my million?????? |

Million dollars- are we talking all at once or in 20,000 dollar increments like the lottery. I don't think I'd pick the million unless I get stuck without a job for too long. Also with all of these consider the rockangel loophole.
Britney Spears, hmm, if she only stays with me for 6 months can I go back to listening to metal after she runs away screaming? if the answer is yes then maybe yes, but I'm not really interested in Britney. if the answer is no then certainly no.
Eternal life- I'd think about it cause I'm afraid of death, but I see boredom down the road while on this track, and though I think I could eventually forget all the great friends I had in the past who are no longer with me I still wouldn't be a big fan of that. I'd probably say yes, but change my mind when it was too late.
Read peoples minds- I'd definitely dig doing that. I'd also dig it if people could read my mind so people would stop misunderstanding my intentions. I guess I'd do it, but definitely if Rockangel loophole is in effect.
Proof of Gods existance. No, no, no. if i were given the answer I probably still wouldn't be certain of it. God isn't concrete enough to be prooven. If he was he already would have been prooven. |

Okay, here's a more tempting offer than the God one.
WOULD YOU FORSAKE METAL FOR:
-certain knowledge (though, by necessity, no reproducible proof for others) of whether or not there is an afterlife, and if so, just how it works and what actions in life will or will not affect one's situation in the afterlife.
