The Crucible is the best I've heard so far out of Motorhead, Speeddealer, Soilwork and maybe a few others. I haven't heard In Flames or Opeth yet though, so those could upturn Halford quite possibly. I also haven't heard any Blaze album and the Tenth Dimension should come in any day now, then we shall see. |

I liked 'The Prophecy', 'The Chosen Ones' and 'H.M.J.' instantly, but all the record is great. I'm glad to know they are working on the second one.
@ PaulEMoz: that should have been my number one, but ANATO hit me so hard, that so far I'm still hooked into it.
By 12/31, things may change for the final top-ten, Shaman, Halford, Dream Evil, Planet X, Joe Satriani, Angra, Nightwish, Steel Prophet and Riot are fighting hard for their positions. And I hadn't received yet my copies of "Avantasia II", "Attack", "Comalies", "Crimson Thunder" and "Seventh Coming", which I'm sure I'm going to be hard contenders. |

I thought that a few guys around here would really consider that band the top of this year anyway. |

Soilworks Natural Born Chaos has not fallen out of rotation since it's release.I love this album! A perfect blend of melody and brutallity.I think only Nevermore has a chance to steal the top spot for me this year. |
